Paul Granjon and Michka Melo are conducting research on the topic of microbial fuel cells (MFCs), a renewable electricity production device in which electrogenic bacteria digest organic matter in an anaerobic environment. Renowned ceramicist Jonathan Keep gave a 3 day workshop in ceramic 3D printing in June 2016 for FAB-Cre8 members and Fab Lab Cardiff associates.
